Novoferm soild wood doors are only manufactured out of carefully selected Nordic pine or African Okoume wood. Pine stands out due to its inviting light colour and predominantly horizonral grain. Okoume glows in red - brown colour, which darkens under solar radiation.

All timber sectional doors are also available as a Novoport System with operator as standard and offer a high degree of safety, operating convenience and durability.

The solid wood doors are made of water resistant bonded multi-layer boards of nordic pine (3 layers) or okoumé (5 layers). They are also used in shipbuilding. To effectively protect them from the influences of weather it is absolutely essential to apply surface treatment before installation.
